The ability to be confident and qualified is often overlooked. This is a huge mistake not only for your safety, how can you call for help when you need it! But also for the more fun things you will want to do like booking a visitor berth in a marina or talking to your flotilla mates to organise arrivals and social events. Here at Corfu Powerboating we have combined these two courses which can be booked at a discount. The VHF course can be taken in our classroom, usually follwingon from the practical course or using the online simulation at a time to suit you

RYA Powerboat Level 1
Course Overview
A practical introduction to boat handling and safety. For real novices and the younger boaters

Personal safety and safety equipment on board
Tying the boat up to an alongside
Steering and controlling the boat ahead and astern
How to come alongside and leave
How to stop the boat and raise the alarm
Minimum age
8 years old
Endorsements 8-11 years old to operate the boat with adult onboard. 11-15 should be supervised by suitable adult

RYA Powerboat Level 2
Course overview
A two-day practical powerboat course intended for anyone, either new to boating, or have existing experience who want to gain the skills and knowledge required to be a competent powerboater driver.
Successful completion of the PB2 course allows you to apply for the International Certificate of Competence (ICC) for the charter of
powerboats in Europe
